I love this contraption... The jumperoo, jolly jumper... whatever you call it, it's a life-saver for me. When I want to take a shower, I just hang it in the doorway of our bathroom and Elise is content to just jump away while I get 10 minutes of steamy, clean, quiet heaven. Today I plopped her into it, not noticing that she had a book in her hand. I left the room to quickly grab something, and when I came back, there she was... hanging there and "reading" her book. It was so cute I had to take a picture.

i loved the jumper too. i think what the boys loved most was how high they could jump and then from there how high they could make it swing. it was pure entertainment for all of us.
Jacob really loved his jumperoo! (Caleb did too, but Jacob especially did.) He would oftentimes fall asleep in it, and, as I would go to gently take him out, he would wake up, get his eyes really big, and start jumping again really fast. As if he was saying "no - I wasn't sleeping - I am jumping, Momma - leave me alone." That was when I knew it was time to get out, and every time he would start crying. hehehe... fun memories.
Now why did I not think of this before? We've always kept the swing in our bathroom for just such occasions, but I bet they'd love to change it up with the johnny jump up! Joy, that is...
